Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest of three daughters, was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to psychotherapist[8] Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a retired real estate developer who's grandfather moved to Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in the year 1976. Psaki is also a Polish-American. In 1996 she graduated from Greenwich High School. In the year 2000, she received a College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is a Chi Omega member. At William & Mary, Psaki was a backstroke athlete for the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki started her career in 2001 as a re-election candidate for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki was later John Kerry's press secretary. Psaki also served as communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until the year 2006. MSNBC announced that Psaki will work as a political analyst throughout 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming site. [35] Psaki first appeared on TV in 2023 after she was dismissed from her job as White House press secretary and discussed the Robb Elementary School school shooting.
